Parent Notification System
SchoolMessenger is the primary mass notification tool used by Ballinger ISD for a variety of communication purposes. It is capable of sending Phone, Email and Text Messages. This system will be used for parent outreach, emergency broadcasts, school closings and other communication needs for our schools.
To ensure you get district and campus announcements make sure your contact information is updated in the Ascender Parent Portal. A copy of the Parent Guide to Ascender which details how to update this information is attached below and begins on page 16. Once your account is updated in the Ascender Parent Portal, you will be auto enrolled in our Notification System. It can take up to 72 hours for any changes made in Ascender to update in SchoolMessenger
