Office of Superintendent

While Ballinger ISD respects the past accomplishments of our previous students, our main purpose is to prepare our current students for their successful future. In order to accomplish this purpose, I feel that students, parents, community, and school staff members need to be actively involved in the education program that Ballinger ISD has to offer. All school staff members need to be passionate about the education of our students along with coming to work each day with a purpose driven goal of providing the best education possible for our students.
I believe that all of Ballinger ISD’s staff members should also understand that building positive and productive relationships with students, parents, and community members is one of the keys to preparing our students for success, both in and out of the classroom. I believe that all students ought to feel valued and cared for in all aspects of their lives. It is important for Ballinger ISD to create this type of environment in order for our students to be able to learn to the best of their ability. Every student has strengths, and each student deserves the opportunity to grow and to achieve their potential. All stakeholders should not see a student’s mistakes and struggles as failures. Instead, we should see such experiences as opportunities for our students to grow.
I am excited about the direction that we are headed at Ballinger ISD. However, we must always fear complacency in any form. Our students deserve all of us to always strive to be passionate about each student’s success while having a purpose driven goal of providing the best education possible for each student.
I want to thank the Board of Trustees of Ballinger ISD for entrusting me to serve as your Superintendent. It is an honor and a privilege to be part of the rich tradition that the community of Ballinger has always valued. If there is ever anything that we can do to better our school district, please do not hesitate to contact me. Our students are worth the time and effort that it takes to ensure they have every available opportunity for them to be successful.
May God bless each one of you, the students and the staff members of Ballinger ISD. Go Bearcats!
Sincerely,
Jeff Butts
